Tommy has a heart for coming alongside struggling men. Because of his life experiences, he finds it so important to create a safe, non-judgemental place for accountability and scriptural truth. Helping men find Jesus in their struggles with addiction, pornography, pride, purpose, etc. is the best conclusion to his unlikely story.
Another passion of Tommy's is former athletes who are stumbling to find their new identity outside of sports. No one can really relate to this struggle like someone who has experienced it. Tommy certainly knows exactly what it feels like to have your entire identity wrapped up in the praise and adoration of your fans. When this stroking of your ego suddenly disappears, there seems to be nothing left.
For all of these reasons, Tommy is currently in the process of completing his biblical counseling certification through the Association of Biblical Counselors. His ultimate desire is to pour Jesus and scripture into young athletes to equip them not only for potentially dealing with the temptations of a professional sport's career but also for life in general.
